Wardha / From working in a small hotel job to reaching the pinnacle of education and intellectual pursuit, Dr. Rajesh Moon has carved an inspiring journey. In recognition of his remarkable contributions to literature, intellectual discourse, and social commitment, he has been selected for the Babasaheb Dr. Ambedkar National Fellowship Award.
This prestigious honour will be conferred upon him by the Bharatiya Dalit Sahitya Academy, New Delhi, during a grand ceremony to be held in Delhi on 12–13 December 2025.
A resident of Vikramsheela Nagar, Wardha, Dr. Moon is a prominent writer, poet, thinker, and social activist deeply inspired by Ambedkarite ideology. He has authored several impactful books and articles focusing on social justice, equality, and human values. His notable works include Harbinger, Honeycomb, and Parrot and the King of Universe.
The Bharatiya Dalit Sahitya Academy has chosen to honour Dr. Moon in recognition of his creative writing, intellectual commitment, and sustained efforts to spread awareness and bring positive change in society.
